Postdoctoral Fellow Positions Available Mandrak Lab University of Toronto Scarborough Fish Community Change in Space and Time The Mandrak lab, University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC), has an opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow to conduct research on quantifying changes in fish communities along an urban to rural to forest gradient. The research will be conducted at three scales. A global analysis will be conducted at a watershed scale using existing data with emphasis on testing hypotheses related to invasive species as part of a new Global Urban Biological Invasion Consortium. Below are the results of our 2018 elections and our current Executive Committee membership. Congratulations Caleb, Erin, Graham and Mike – thank you for agreeing to serve on the CARS ExComm. A huge thank you to Margot Stockwell, our outgoing Secretary-Treasurer, who, in addition to her core responsibilities, coordinated the logistics for the CCFFR Clemens-Rigler Travel Fund on behalf of CARS. As CCFFR is now incorporated, CARS is no longer responsible for coordinating this fund and is looking for a new role with CCFFR – for example, coordinating early-career professional workshops. New scholarships announced for students studying fish and wildlife
