Request for bid to host the World Fisheries Congress 2020

World Council members and colleagues –

Your assistance is requested in helping to obtain bids for the 2020 World Fisheries Congress.  Please add this announcement to your web page and circulate it to those who may be interested in hosting the 2020 event and submit a bid.

Attached is the bid request document as discussed during the WCFS meeting in Portland, Oregon, USA.  Please note that the deadline for submissions of bid proposals has been extended to December 31, 2015.  This will still allow the WCFS Executive Board sufficient time to evaluate the proposals and make a selection prior to the Busan WFC in May 2016.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Doug Austen at dausten[at]fisheries.org
